Strategies to Promote Student Engagement

Using technology in instruction can promote student engagement through providing opportunities for students to authentically engage with content and each other. Gamification, hands-on and interactive activities, peer interaction, and incorporating student choice are just a few of the ways.

Strategies to Promote Discussion and Collaboration

Technology allows for new and different ways for students to collaborate and share ideas with each other and teachers, both synchronously and asynchronously.

Strategies to Promote Higher-Order Thinking

When teachers use technology, students can leverage the power of that technology to problem solve and complete tasks that require them to create, apply, analyze, and evaluate content and ideas.

Examples of Creative Projects and Products
