The mission of the Mayfair Elementary's Counseling Program is to provide each student with the Philadelphia School District’s goal of a well-rounded experience and framework - academically, developmentally and socially based off of a national curriculum, to benefit them in their lives beyond. A combined effort of a whole team – including parents, teachers and administration, students are encouraged, supported, and confidently chase success as members of a community and a culturally diverse society despite intricate and varied circumstances.
Mayfair Elementary's School Counseling Program consists of multiple school counselors whose goals and priorities are to assist all students reach their potential both in and out of the classroom, as well as prepare them for their futures as global citizens. Students are challenged to their individual potential and goals in hopes that a vision of everlasting achievement is reached to benefit and positively influence the greater good of society.
All students have the tools and ability to achieve success in, but not limited to academics, personal, social and career fields.
