Grade 7 Unit 2

Heroes, Gods, and Monsters is a retelling of many Greek myths. Myths are narratives of gods, goddesses, and heroes and their achievements and supernatural powers. These myths are passed down and tell stories of the common beliefs that the Greeks held about the world and its people. The Greeks held their characters accountable for their actions, heroes were rewarded,  but they were also punished. However, often the morals of the Greeks are very different from our morals today, therefore these stories must be viewed with a lens of criticality.
