The Second Annual Soaring Shark Tank took place on Friday, May 31, 2019. It was an opportunity for young innovators to showcase and pitch business ideas to a panel of judges comprised of entrepreneurs and investors. The event was open to all eighth grade innovators in surrounding school districts and private schools. Thank you to Manchester Academic Charter School for your attendance.
Master of Ceremonies, Jordon Rooney of Never Fear Being Different, led the event with Keynote Speaker Cory Nieves of Mr. Cory's Cookies as seen on The Ellen Degeneres show and CNBC's The Profit. Cory, along with Ms. Lisa Howard, known as "The Cookie Mom" shared incredible insight with young entrepreneurs.
