A recipient of the Fund for Classical Music Promotion Under the Patronage of HRH Princess Galyani Vadhana, Dr. Parinya is a versatile classically-trained musician. He was originally trained as a flutist and conductor at the Assumption College Band before switching to composition when he pursued a bachelor’s degree at the College of Music, Mahidol University. He then completed his graduate degrees in conducting and holds a doctorate in orchestral conducting from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, USA.

Dr. Parinya is also a freelance orchestrator and music theory instructor and teaches at the College of Music, Mahidol University and the Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music. 

Furthermore, he is a licensed Kindermusik® educator who became interested in music education for young children after witnessing the positive impact of music and movement on his own child's development. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, gardening, and reading Thai fiction.
