I was born and raised on the fabulous Mississippi Gulf Coast and graduated from D'Iberville High School (#WarriorPride) many moons ago.  As for my background, I earned my Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice Technology from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College (#GoBulldogs), a Bachelor Degree in both Criminal Justice and Psychology at William Carey University and I am currently working on my Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice, also from William Carey (#SaderStrong). Prior to college, I have over nine years’ experience as a sworn law enforcement officer for the great State of Mississippi.  

I am pleased to have the opportunity to teach at the College and Career Technical Institute and I am very excited to teach this year!  I am committed to doing everything within my power to make this year successful for all of us.  I look forward to the school year filled with unlimited learning experiences and I am looking forward to teaching, as well as knowing, each student in my class.  I will try to make the classes more interesting, so that each student understands and enjoys each topic.  I also hope to make this academic year an educational, in addition to, a fun-filled year for the students.
