Alfred Street Baptist Church presents its 21st Annual Historically Black College & University (HBCU) Festival on November 17-18, 2023.  The hybrid event allows students to participate online or in person at the St. James Sports Complex at 6805 Industrial Road, Springfield, Virginia. 22131.

The festival is dedicated to connecting high school students and their families to HBCUs and providing scholarship opportunities.  Approximately 80 colleges and universities will be present, and many will provide on-the-spot admission decisions, conduct music auditions, and waive application fees. Additionally, seminars and exhibitor presentations will be held to help students navigate the college application process, seek financial aid opportunities, and acclimate them to campus life.
