Access PGCPS Zoom

Purpose: Video Conferencing Tool

Host live virtual meetings or instructional sessions with various audiences.

License: PGCPS reduced the number of Premium Zoom licenses available to school-based staff due to low districtwide Zoom usage and FY27 budget reductions. The changes took effect on September 30, 2026.

Most PGCPS Staff now have a basic Zoom license. They can host meetings for up to 100 participants, with a 40-minute time limit, and can record to a desktop (no cloud).

Principals, APs, Online Campus Staff, IEP Coordinators have Premium licenses. They can host meetings for up to 300 participants. They also have unlimited meeting time, Zoom AI Companion, and cloud or desktop recording.

If you believe you should have a premium Zoom license but do not, such as:

School-based staff designated to create and host special education meetings at a school without an IEP Coordinator.
Contractors who require Zoom access

Please fill out and submit the PGCPS Zoom License Request Form.

By default, all users have 100 seats.

Requests for Long-Term Substitutes, Student Teachers, or Other Contract Employees must be submitted directly by their Principal or Supervisor.

or a 1-year Premium Zoom License for the upcoming school year. Premium features include meeting times exceeding 40 minutes, capacity for over 100 participants, and access to the Zoom AI Companion.

Temporary Large Meeting/Webinar License Request

Staff may occasionally host a meeting that will require more than the standard 300 seats. In these instances, the meeting host can request to temporarily have a Large Meeting (500, 1000) or a Webinar license (1000) attached to their account.
