Navigate to gemini.google.com.
Log in with your Google Account.
Locate the message box labeled "Enter prompt here" or "Ask Gemini."
Type your question or instruction into the box.
(Optional: Use the attachment icon to upload a photo or file for Gemini to analyze.)
Press the Enter key or click the Send button (often an arrow icon) to submit your request.
Read the answer and use the options below it:
Continue the conversation by asking a follow-up question.
Click "Modify response" to make it shorter, longer, or change the tone.
Click the Google icon to double-check the information against web sources.
Generate images from text prompts.
Draft emails, articles, and creative stories.
Summarize lengthy documents and videos.
