Advance Placement

The Advanced Placement (AP) program is a curriculum of standardized courses sponsored by the College Board that are generally recognized to be equivalent to undergraduate courses in college. Students who earn a qualifying score on the AP assessments in the spring could earn college credit for taking the courses.

Parkdale High School offers several Advance Placement Courses. Descriptions of these courses are available for download. The Advance Placement exams are given every spring to students completing an AP course. In 2019, the AP Exams will take place between May 6 - 17, 2018. Download a copy of the dates for these assessments below.

The cost of each AP Exam is $94 fee. For more information about the Advanced Placement program and exam fees at Parkdale High School, please contact Dr. Leroy Alicea, Assistant Principal.
