Advance Placement (AP)

The Advanced Placement (AP) program is a curriculum of standardized courses sponsored by the College Board that are generally recognized to be equivalent to undergraduate courses in college.  Students who earn a qualifying score on the AP assessments in the spring could earn college credit for taking the courses.

Parkdale High School offers several Advance Placement Courses.  Descriptions of these courses are available for download.  The Advance Placement exams are given every spring to students completing an AP course.  The 2026 AP Exams will be administered over two weeks, from May 4–8 and May 11–15, 2026. Morning sessions begin at 8 a.m. local time, and afternoon sessions begin at 12 noon local time. A late-testing window is available from May 18–22, 2026, for approved conflicts.  AP Exam Dates
