Preparing for a Half Day Schedule in your 12th Grade Year!

Looking forward - Senior Year: Half Day Schedule!

Are you already planning your Senior year and wondering how you'll be eligible for a half day schedule?

Students request a half day schedule for a myriad of reasons including, but not limited to work, to gain additional volunteer hours, etc.

The requirements for a half day your senior year are as follows. They may change, but this is what they are currently:

1. Pass all your Maryland state exams (Algebra, Biology, Government and English 10). 

2. Submitted your 24 service Learning hours

3. Need no more than 4 classes your senior year, including English 12 and Math. If you are curious to know how many courses you will still need in your 12th grade year to be able to graduate you can look at your Graduation Agreement under the column for Needed courses.

If you are interested in this for your senior year your Professional School Counselors *highly* recommend you complete and submit your 24 Service Learning Hours no later than December 2026.

Be present, participate and pass ALL Maryland State Exams (see above).
