Students will begin to explore and make sense of the natural world through phenomenon-based instruction. All lessons will be aligned to the Next Generation Science Standards.

Students will develop an understanding of weather patterns as well as the purpose of weather forecasting. They will develop understanding of what plants and animals need to survive, and the relationship between their needs and where they live.
