Math

The instructional focus in kindergarten math is on representing and comparing whole numbers. We also work on addition and subtraction, and address topics in measurement, geometry, and place value. Students are expected to count to 100 and fluently add and subtract numbers up to 5. All lessons are aligned to the Maryland College and Career-Ready Standards for Math, which address the skills in which students need to become proficient.
