Sectional/Rehearsal Schedule

Your child is enrolled in an instrumental music class at Ellen Ochoa MS. Frequently, the class is called upon to perform in public. Therefore, extra sectional, rehearsal, and performance time will be required of the class
during school as well as after school hours. The additional time will be
relative to the number of performances approved by the Principal.

To fulfill the class requirements, the student must be willing to participate
in all the scheduled sectionals, rehearsals, and performances. These sectionals/rehearsals are very important, as we want to make sure we are
fully prepared for each one of our performances. Credit will be given for
these after-school sectionals/rehearsals. These sectionals/rehearsals
apply to all instrumental music students.

Sectionals/Rehearsals will be held after school from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Dates are subject to change. Parents/Guardians will be notified via School Messenger if a rehearsal date changes. Transportation
WILL NOT be provided. Please be sure to pick up your child on time from
the front of the building. 

I suggest students bring something extra to eat/drink before rehearsal.
If a few parents are willing to donate a few small drink/snack items,
that would be fantastic.
