Program Overview:
The Folklórico for Wellness Program is designed to teach students traditional Mexican and Salvadoran folkloric dance while promoting physical activity, cultural pride, and overall wellness. The program will include weekly dance sessions where students will learn various folkloric dance routines, participate in wellness activities, and prepare for a final performance.

Attendance and Participation:
Regular attendance is crucial for your child’s success in the program. Students are expected to participate in every session unless they are sick or have a family emergency. If your child must miss a session, please inform us in advance.
Accessory Policy:
At the end of the program, students who have participated in almost every session (with exceptions for illness) will be allowed to keep the accessories provided, such as skirts, sashes, and other costume elements. These items are a reward for commitment and dedication to the program.

The beginning of our Garden Project with our Community Partner Nemas Garden led by Kevin Aslop!
Here's what you can expect from our new garden teaching area:
Interactive Workshops: We'll be hosting a series of interactive workshops led by experts from Nemas Garden and our own team. These workshops will cover various topics, including soil health, composting, plant care, and natural pest control.
Demonstration Plots: We'll set up demonstration plots showcasing different gardening techniques and practices. This will allow visitors to see firsthand how they can apply sustainable gardening methods in their own homes and communities.
Educational Resources: We'll provide educational resources, such as informational signage, brochures, and online materials, to supplement the learning experience and empower visitors to continue their learning journey beyond the garden.
Community Engagement: The garden teaching area will also serve as a hub for community engagement, where individuals of all ages can come together to learn, share ideas, and connect with like-minded individuals passionate about sustainability.

Orange Black and White Soccer Poster (1).pdfWe will HOST a week of TRYOUTS for the Spring Soccer Semester. Tryouts will be held right after school from 2:15- 3:15 pm for the week January 22-29th.
The soccer program will begin February 5th and end April 25th, 2024.
Practices will be held Monday 3rd grade, Tuesday 4th grade, Wednesday 5th grade, and GAMES on SATURDAY!!!
Realizaremos una semana de PRUEBAS para el semestre de fútbol de primavera. Las pruebas se llevarán a cabo inmediatamente después de clases de 2:15 a 3:15 p.m. durante la semana del 22 al 29 de enero.
El programa de fútbol comenzará el 5 de febrero y finalizará el 25 de abril de 2024.
Las prácticas se realizarán el lunes 3° grado, el martes 4° grado, el miércoles 5° grado y los JUEGOS el SÁBADO!!!

We ended the season with an amazing celebration, thanks to everyone who participated and supported throughout the Soccer fall season!
We will be starting our after-school soccer club September 14th, 2023
For students to participate they must have transportation and be picked up by 3:30. If your child is picked up late more then twice they will be removed from the program!
