What's Happening at BHES? We have had staff breakfasts donated by local stores and the PTA. We have had grocery, and produce giveaways for our families and community. We have also given away books, coats, toys, school supplies and more to our students and families!

Our Annual Hello Husky Night Event in September 2022 was well attended by more than 200 people and more than a dozen information tables. We gave away uniforms, books, break, snacks, and more.
In the 2022-2023 School year we have been giving away Bread, Uniforms, and Vegetables. We are also now a Brighter Bites School and our families can receive a bag of produce for 8 weeks in the Fall and 8 weeks in the Spring.

I visited Carlos Pugh, the PEA at Greenbelt Middle School for their Multicultural event in October. We have a great relationship with our GMS counterparts and we enjoy supporting each other's activities.
