Welcome Back Berwyn Heights Elementary School Families,

I am the Parent Engagement Assistant. As part of my role I am responsible for supporting the initiatives of the Principal and the Department of Family and School Partnerships. I am very excited to be in this role and I look forward to working with our families, the teachers, the staff and the community in building bridges between our students' families and our school. 

I would like to share a little about me and my family. My 2 oldest daughters attended Berwyn Heights Elementary School and are now in high school and college, and this year I will have a daughter in 6th grade and Kindergarten here at Berwyn Heights. I have been active in our community for many years. I was previously selected as the Berwyn Heights Citizen of the year and the Berwyn Heights Boys and Girls Club Woman of the year. I was Berwyn Heights Recreation Council Co-chair for numerous years, I have been a coach and a commissioner for the Berwyn Heights Boys and Girls Club and I served as Vice President for 4 years and President for 2 years on the Berwyn Heights Elementary School PTA. In addition to my current role, I am a student at Prince George's Community College and I have held my Real Estate license since 2003. 

Part of my responsibilities include providing parents with resources at school and in the community. This is not limited to school related activities. If there is something that your family is in need of please reach out to me so that I may assist you. I will be in the school building some days and working in the field other days. 

This year I would like to work on building effective partnerships between our School, Teachers, Parents, Students and our Community.
