Dear AHS Year 4 Students,
This is a reminder that students are expected to attend all of their high school classes even when there is a substitute teacher. Students who do not attend will be marked absent. In addition, students will receive a zero for missed assignments due to the unexcused absence. If students are present at school and do not attend class, then that is a Student Code of Conduct Violation and could result in disciplinary action.
It is imperative that you arrange your college responsibilities around your classes.
Thank you,
AHS Administration

We have also created an AHS Senior Class Newsletter this year for our Class of 2026 families who prefer a one-page quick guide of senior class updates. It is mobile friendly.
As the AHS Class of 2026 Senior sponsors, we will send bi-monthly emails to keep everyone current. Our seniors get busy, so the email updates ensure information gets to the parents/guardians in a timely manner.
We will also host virtual parent/guardian meetings before major senior class events to ensure that families receive updates on confirmed dates and locations once approved by the school district and/or vendors. These virtual meetings serve as a way to provide logistical information to parents/guardians before events in order to ensure our seniors have the best time, but remain safe.
Spring 2025 fundraiser participants and their parent/guardian will receive an email notification from Mrs. Thomas with information about the status of their senior package discount within the next two weeks. This only applies to the Class of 2026 Spring 2025 fundraiser participants.
FYI: Mrs. Thomas and I only plan, organize and provide information that pertains to senior year celebrations, paraphernalia, and/or other fellowship activities (i.e. the lock-in, BBQ, prom, tshirts, etc.). Graduation information will be provided by another team later in their senior year.
