In addition, we own and operate the Ryder Cup, PGA Championship, KPMG Women’s PGA Championship and KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship as well as numerous member and junior championships.
PGA REACH is the 501(c)(3) charitable foundation of the PGA of America. The mission of PGA REACH is to positively impact the lives of youth, military, and diverse populations by enabling access to PGA of America Golf Professionals, PGA Sections and the game of golf. We are proud that our PGA HOPE program has a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), which enables direct referrals to the PGA HOPE program as a form of therapy.
The PGA of America also works with the games governing bodies for the betterment of the sport. Below is a little bit of information about each and how we, as the PGA of America interact with them.
Title: Account Coordinator
Department: Partnership Development
Reports to: Senior Director, Partnership Development
Supervision: No supervisory responsibility.
Position Description: Assist with the day-to-day operations of the Partnership Development team including assisting in the creation of programming through activation on deliverables for Partners and maximize revenue while driving maximum benefit and services to the Association and its constituents.
Support the Account Manager and Senior Director of Partnerships on the day-to-day management of key Association corporate partners, while acting as general support for the Partnership Development team.
Work closely with the Account Manager to develop long-term strategies related to each partner as well as day-to-day contractual obligations.
Interface with clients and their respective agencies (when applicable) to assist with partnership development, enhance activation(s) and deliver on commitments to help ensure renewal.
Assist with partner activation efforts that meet the PGA’s mission of serving the member and growing the game.
Lead recording of meetings, both internal/external, while supporting logistics of local and national marketing programs, partner status reports/calls, and management of national partner outing platform.
Review proposed marketing materials submitted by partners to ensure they are effective are in keeping with trademark, brand, and designation guidelines, as well as the Association’s integrity, and help drive PGA brand recognition.
Assist in managing logistics and details across key events – including but not limited to the annual partner summit, year to go celebrations, event specific events, and receptions, and send company-wide invitations.
Assist manager with scheduling meetings, agendas for planning meetings, and expected to take thorough recap notes of each partner or team call.
Provide initial draft versions of internal and external-facing documents, including but not limited to event recaps and annual marketing plans.
Assist in the new business and contract renewal process by creating contract summaries for each applicable corporate partner and sharing the contents with internal parties (finance, Championships, etc.).
Assist sales team with updating new business pipeline reports and sales documents.
Assist with planning and managing events tailored to new business prospects.
Create purchase orders and payment requisitions for Partnership Development and purchases and/or contracts.
Manage ancillary responsibilities for Partnership Management team, including but not limited to contractual partner media budgets/deliverables, PGA.org upkeep, and weekly/monthly Member communication on behalf of partners, etc.

Job Knowledge/Technology: Must have knowledge of managing multiple priorities, in a multi-functional work environment. Knowledge of marketing principles and practices and possess the ability to interact, collaborate and build relationships with various departments within PGA of America and established partners. Must also have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a general knowledge of the game. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.

Required:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or related major.
One year of experience in marketing, sales and/or promotions.
Sports and/or entertainment experience preferred but not mandatory.
