Welcome to Art: Where creativity runs wild and mistakes turn into magic!
Hello!
This is my 4th year as the Art Teacher at Caldwell Elementary and I truly love inspiring young artists everyday. Before joining Caldwell, I worked in Special Education, along with Resource and Inclusion in Round Rock. I am an artist myself and earned my degree from the Rhode Island School of Design. After college, I worked as a greeting card illustrator and later designed artwork for baby products.
I'm happily married with two wonderful kids and our dog, Austin! Outside of school I enjoy hiking, baking and painting. My favorite part of teaching art is introducing my students to new art mediums and helping them discover their confidence to see themselves as amazing artists.
