P-TECH Academies

Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) allows students to earn up to 60 tuition-free college credit hours to complete an Associates degree from Austin Community College while still in high school. Students also have the opportunity to earn industry certifications and gain work-based learning experiences from local industry partners.

The mission of PfISD P-TECH Academies is to empower students to complete post-secondary and industry-based credentials through an academic and work-based educational experience that leads to success in high-demand fields,
in partnership with institutes of higher learning and industry professionals.

Connally High School is proud to announce its new CIT Academy! This is an innovative open-enrollment program that allows students to receive both their high school diploma and their CIT credentials/associate degree.

Weiss High School is proud to announce its new Pfuture Teachers Academy! This is an innovative open-enrollment program that allows students to receive both their high school diploma and an associate degree in teaching.
