What SRJC Classes Do High School Students Take?

The most common courses that high school students take at SRJC are:

Coun 270 Introduction to College

KFIT courses, such as, Yoga, Pilates, Dance, Body Conditioning

ASL 1, 2, or 3 American Sign Language

Hist 17.2 US History

Hist 4.2 World History

Math 150a, 151, 155

Social Science courses such as Psychology or Sociology.

Art courses

There are hundreds of courses at SRJC; the above list is not meant to limit what a high schooler could take.

How to Sign up for an SRJC Course

Before a high school student can take a course at SRJC, the student must complete the Dual Enrollment process. When enrolled at high school and SRJC, a student is enrolled in two schools at one time: San Antonio and SRJC. This process involves the student, parent, high school counselor and principal, and SRJC admissions.

Dual Enrollment Form and Process

All high school students must complete the Dual Enrollment Form in order to take any SRJC course. Before you can enroll in Coun 270, Introduction to College, the Dual Enrollment form must be completed. It is not hard or complicated. Watch a "How To" video. More links are below.
