Good luck in your exams Year 11! Remember keep revising till the last one. You are going to smash it!
We would recommend students will spend around 2 hours a day completing homework. During holiday periods - for example during the Easter Holidays - this should increase to around 4 hours a day.
We recommend that students have a quiet, dedicated area to work at home. We understand that this will look different depending on the individual circumstances of people's homes. However, we would recommend encouraging students to revise in a public part of the home to avoid issues of isolation if they are in their rooms on their own for extended periods, and to help avoid distraction.Â
Whilst our Year 11 students are fast approaching adulthood, they still very much need your support as parents and guardians at this stage to maintain focus and productivity throughout the revision period. We recommend that, if possible, students work in a public part of the house so that you can passively monitor their work. If you cannot be there throughout the study session, we would encourage you to ask your son/daughter to show you what they have been working on during the day. This gentle accountability will help students to maintain focus throughout the day, and is a great opportunity to celebrate all their hard work!
