About me - Alecia Einspahr
I am a PC alum and attended UNK for an undergrad in Elementary Education & ESL endorsement. I then taught ESL newcomers in GI for 5 years. While there, I earned my Master’s in Educational Administration from Wayne State. In 2020, I moved to Lincoln to teach ESL for 1 year. My husband Eric and I thought it would be a good idea to move our newborn Reagan (now 4) back to Grant to be closer to both of our families. I then taught ESL in Chase County for 1 year before deciding I wanted a career change to counseling. We had another daughter Emi (now almost 3) and are loving life in Grant!
This will be my fourth year at Perkins County. I also coach JH Cross Country, co-run the PC Pathways Internship Program, and co-sponsor the senior class with Mrs. Soper.
About me - Whitney Soper
I am a PC (last class of GHS) alum and attended Hastings College for an undergrad in 7-12 English Education. I spent 8 years teaching high school/junior high English in Scottsbluff. While there, I earned my Master’s in Script and Screenwriting from Regent University. In 2017 life took me to Ogallala, Nebraska, to teach Speech/Drama. But, when a position opened at PCS in 2019, my family made the move to return to my alma mater. This will be my 6th year at Perkins County. My first five years were spent teaching junior high ELA/Reading and high school Speech. It was in this position that I realized I wanted to pursue a job in counseling; the work on that master's degree began in 2022.
This will be my first year as counselor at PCS. I also coach JH volleyball, and am the Speech coach for PCS.
