Summer Reading

PRInTS 2020

Pequannock Township High School

Even though the requirement is one book, we are encouraging the continuation of reading multiple texts throughout the summer and into the upcoming school year. As we have done in years past we will continue to encourage reading choice at the high school level. Below are our recommendations for books in various genres of literature. Students do not have to limit their choices to the books listed here. These are merely jumping off points. Read far and wide about topics that most interest you.

Upon return to school, students will be expected to demonstrate their abilities to address theme, supported by quotes and relevant evidence. As you scroll to the bottom of the page you will find information about how to access more summer ebook and audio options through the Pequannock Township Public Library. And finally, don't wait until school starts to share your favorite reads or listens! At the bottom of the page we have a Flipgrid for high school students to share their thoughts about what they are reading. Join in the conversation and get reading!
