Ms. Granholm is so excited to be joining the music faculty as the Choir Director at Pequannock Township High School. She directs the Concert Choir, Nocktaves, is the music director of the Spring Musical, and teaches Piano and Music Technology.
Ms. Granholm earned her Bachelors in Music Education from The College of New Jersey, where she studied voice with Dr. Brandi Diggs of the Kentucky Opera, and conducting with Dr. John Leonard and Dr. Heather Mitchell.
Ms. Granholm is a published arranger for a cappella groups around NJ, and her arrangements can be found for sale online! She has also been seen in performance across the country with ensembles such as the Philadelphia Orchestra, Harmonium Choral Society, and American Music Abroad.
Mr. Rooney joined the faculty at Pequannock schools in October, 2026, where he teaches instrumental music at both the middle and high school. He co-directs the High School Concert Band and works with the sixth grade band at PV middle school.
Mr. Rooney received his Bachelors degree in Music Education and Trombone Performance from the Eastman School of Music, where he studied with Mark Kellogg.
He has also made appearances in various professional ensembles, such as the Southwest Florida Orchestra, The Spirit of America Wind Ensemble, The Outer Cape Chorale, and the Empire Film and Media Ensemble.
Mr. Streifer has served as the Band Director at Pequannock Township High School since 2015. He directs the Marching Band and Concert Band, teaches Music Theory, AP Music Theory, Piano, and Music Technology, and oversees all extra-curricular ensembles within the band program.
He earned his Bachelors in Music Education from Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of the Arts, where he studied tuba with Alan Baer of the New York Philharmonic and conducting with Professor Darryl Bott and Dr. Kraig Alan Williams. He is currently pursuing a Masters degree for Wind Band Conducting at Messiah University.
Mr. Streifer has also pursued extensive conducting and music education study through national symposiums at the University of North Texas, Indiana State University, UMass Amherst, and Ithaca College, working with leading conductor-educators from across the country.
