EduPlanet is now our curriculum writing and warehousing platform. We have currently migrated all of our existing curriculum to the EduPlanet platform and made PDF copies, which have been downloaded into a Shared Google Drive "District Curricula 2022-2023."
The Google Classroom will provide you with resources in print and video form that will address the expectations when approaching curriculum development, how to use EduPlanet, how you can access the final product, and how to address revisions and modifications.
Our goal is to create curricula that provides all users with a guiding framework that clearly outlines the student learning goals and objectives, presents learning activities and resources for focused and purposeful instruction and that align to the NJSLS, and assessments designed to measure student learning.

In a departure from previous curriculum writing and development practices, we are shifting to a collaborate approach among colleagues. Time will be given in the 2022-2023 school year in order for grade level teams, department colleagues, and cross-curricula teams to discuss and develop the critical elements expected in the curriculum: the student learning goals, the assessments for and of learning, and the instructional activities and resources used to accomplish those goals.
To achieve those goals for our curriculum, we are providing time during PLCs, Grade Level, Department Meeting, and PD days for you and your colleagues to address this important work. What we do in our classrooms impacts our students and we want our curriculum to reflect the great work that is happening all year long.
Please join the EduPlanet Google Classroom to access to tools, videos, and documents that will guide you through the writing process.
