At PEPA, all year groups engage in Physical education, and all year groups engage in PE every week. All our PE lessons have a consistent approach, starting with a warm-up and a quick recap of previous learning followed by a new skill. Once the lesson is completed, the teachers will ensure there is a cool-down and discuss what they learnt and how we could improve our skills for the following lessons. Each key stage is provided with a topic that needs to be taught, such as dance, gymnastics, basketball, netball, etc. Key Stage Two receives PE lessons from Mr Collins, a specialist PE teacher; he will teach across years 3 - 6 every other week, teaching them the fundamental skills of each sport.
