Welcome!

Starting Kindergarten is an exciting time for you and your child. My goal as a Kindergarten teacher this year is to enhance your child’s love for learning and excitement for school. I hope to help your child transition to Kindergarten smoothly.  I realize that there may be many concerns about your child's first year of formal schooling. I hope to ease those worries and hopefully make your child feel as comfortable as possible. Thank you in advance for your cooperation, help, and understanding this year.  

Open-House 2025 

Tuesday, August 19, 2025 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM

Classroom Presentation Time or Parents: 6:15 PM

Paper copies of the pages below will be given out at Open-House for parnets to complete.  

If you cannot attend Open-House please read the Kindergarten Info for Parents and complete either AM or PM Info for the Teacher Form as it pertains to your child's session.

If you cannot get me a digital or paper copy. PLEASE, email your child's dismissal info to me.

! ! Due to generous donations you do not need to buy any specific school supplies for your student for the 2025 -26 school year, except a personal backpack/bookbag.  

I will also be sending home a pencil box of supplies for your student to use for homework and FIDs (Flexible Instruction Days, which are basically emergency closings/snow days).

Other Donation Suggestions:

• small novelty items for our prize box

• For the classroom:  EXTRA glue sticks are always needed, Kleenex, disinfectant wipes, regular and small paper plates, paper towels

• For the nurse: new or gently used freshly washed clothing (including underwear and socks) for ages 5 to 12.  These donations will help provide a change of clothes when students have toileting or spilling accidents in school.
