Nicholas is a proud member of the Pennsbury Instrumental Music Department and is currently the director of orchestras at Afton, Eleanor Roosevelt, Penn Valley, Quarry Hill and Walt Disney Elementary Schools.

Prior to being hired by Pennsbury, Nicholas spent seven years working at Tacony Academy Charter School in Northeast Philadelphia. During this time he had many teaching responsibilities including orchestra, elementary general music, guitar, keyboard lab, music technology, music history, rock band and choir. Additionally, he spent three years in Delaware where he started a brand new string program at The Charter School of New Castle and taught orchestra at both Springer and P.S Dupont Middle Schools in the Brandywine School District.  Nicholas also had the pleasure of directing the jazz band at Mount Pleasant High School in Wilmington, Delaware for four years.

Nicholas is a professional bass player and has performed in a variety of ensembles in the Philadelphia area ranging from big band jazz to musical theater. Currently he is a member of the Philadelphia jazz band "Drivetime" and has recently recorded and collaborated with saxophonist Andrew Neu. Additionally he recorded two albums with blues guitarist Geoff Hansplant.  

Mr. Terramani currently lives in Warrington with his wife, daughter and two cats.
