Beginner Band

Students have the opportunity to begin band in fourth grade in the Pennsbury School District. Students who decide in fifth grade that they would like to learn an instrument may also sign up at the same time as fourth grade beginners.

Our students receive 30 minute lessons every five days within our five-day rotation that can be found here.

Students participate in the 30 minute lesson with students who play the same instrument (example: all beginner flutes, all beginner trombones, etc.). In the spring, our fourth graders combine with the intermediate band students (second-year musicians) and form a concert band that performs during our Spring Concert season.
