Members showing livestock are REQUIRED to attend YQCA and the September FFA meeting for important information about the fair.
Every student showing at Lampeter Fair is required to help with either set up or clean up.
AET is a record keeping website we use across the whole agricultural department. This record keeping system is a required componet for anyone showing. Showman need a weekly jounral entry that consists of what you are doing with the animal, what have you learned and how it pertains to the goals from your indicated in your SAE plan.

Before the West Lampeter Fair showman are expected to write a letter to potential buyer. Showman must submit their buyer letter to the Manor FFA Google Classsroom for approval before sending the letter to community members. Letters should be printed and then mailed to 10-15 people on the list on google classroom.
Thank you letters must be submitted to google classroom for approval. Once approved the student will hand write the thank you letter in a card to give to their buyer at the sale or to mail to the buyer after the sale.
Does a student need to take an agricultural class to show?
Yes, to be in FFA the only requirement is to take an agriculture class.
What do I wear to the show?
Manor FFA polo and jeans can be worn to show the animal. FFA Jacket can be used to show in. FFA jackets should be worn the night of the sale along with a white button down shirt and tie or scarf. Please reach out to an advisor for a jacket to borrow if needed.
What are the dues to show livestock?
In order to show the showman must be complete the Manor FFA code of conducts, the drug and alcohol form (provided by the district), sell 15 items from the fruit sale OR pay $60.00.
What is AET?
AET is the Agriculture Experience Tracker. We use this site to keep track of your animals progress, money coming in and out and skills being learned. Every showman will be required to keep weekly jounral entries in AET and keep record of all money coming in and out. Please see the livestock record book checklist for a complete list of expectations.
