Speaker will discuss prominent agronomic crop diseases in the 2025 growing season and how to use IPM to manage disease in future growing seasons.

In this 30-minute session, participants will be tested on their ability to identify weeds through various photos. We will cover key ID characteristics and share some control tactics with an emphasis on Integrated Weed Management.

Pesticide Misapplications

The speaker will discuss Pennsylvania laws regarding restricted use and general use pesticide record keeping, including requirements for public/commercial and private applicators, data that must be recorded, and the length of time data must be stored and available to PDA. The speaker will also discuss how record keeping applies to the Worker Protection Standard (WPS). The speaker will present rules and regulations regarding the Pennsylvania hypersensitivity registry, and end with tips on additional data applicators should consider recording which are not required by law but can be helpful to have.
