River Heritage Day/Manor FFA Tractor Pull

Weigh in will start at 7:30 am and pulling will start at 9:00 am. *New for 2015*
Pulling tractors may be entered in two different weight classes. *New for 2015*
Maximum drawbar height is 20”.
Speed limit is 3.5 miles per hour for antique, 5 miles per hour for classic. Speed will be regulated with horn on the sled. At 3rd horn, tractors will be disqualified.
Minimum drawbar length 18” from the center of rear axle to point of hook measured horizontally. Point of hook not more than 1 inch in thickness, with a three inch diameter opening having a cross sectional thickness with a minimum of 7/8 of an inch. Pulling point may not be more than 1.5 inches from the back edge of the hitching device. The drawbar must be rigid in all directions and parallel to the ground. The use of a 3 inch twisted clevis is accepted! All hitching points must be parallel to the ground.
All weights must be secured. If any parts or weights fall off the tractor during the pull, the entry will be disqualified. NOTE: Bolts 2” past the tire or last weight MAX in width and front weights not to exceed 11’ from the center of the rear axle.
Engines, RPM’s must not exceed factory standards plus 10%, factory fuel injection systems only, no multiple carbs and no nitrous oxide. All pull vehicles will be open to inspection by track officials. If there is a question of eligibility of the tractor, the burden of proof is the responsibility of the operator and must be proven by factory documentation. Decision of the weighmaster and track officials is final. Exceptions may pull Exhibition only if all safety rules are satisfied.
All engine fans must be shrouded with factory equivalent steel and all hood components in place.
Contest open to tractors with rubber tires not to exceed two sizes over factory standards in width. Rim diameter must be standard. No cut or hand sharpened tires, no 4-wheel drive, duals, tire studs, chains, steel, or iron treads. All tractors must have functional rear wheel brakes.
The shut off switch must be operational from the driver’s seat.
Operator must remain seated during the pull and must have complete control of the tractor at all times. One hand must remain on the steering wheel at all times. All tractors must have strong rigid seats.
No hole digging or jerking of the sled.
All operators must wear a shirt, shoes, and pants.
Tractors must be operated in a safe manner at all times.
Any person who blocks the track with a tractor or other means for the purpose of delaying or interfering with the Event will be BARRED from participation for one year and 10 days. No one other than track officials and drivers on their tractors are permitted on the track.
Prizes will be given to 1st-3rd place and will be determined by the FFA tractor pull committee.
All entry forms must be completed and signed. Any operators under the age of 18 will require the signature of a guardian. Any operators demonstrating questionable driving skills will be challenged and track officials may refuse to hook.

Antique Weight Classes: 2500, 3000, 3500, 4000, 4500, 5000, 5500, 6000, 6500, 7500, 8500, 9500, 10500, 11500, 12500 lbs with 100 lb allowance
Classic Weight Classes: 6000, 7000, 8000, 9000, 10000, 11000, 12000, 13000, 14000, 15000 with 100 lb allowance
A “heavyweight” class will be offered for classic tractors that are over 15000 lbs. Tractors in this class are only permitted if they can not get into a lighter class and will only hook 1 time.
