French III focuses on language proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and listening comprehension. A greater emphasis is placed on increasing complexity of writing and reading tasks. Speaking tasks involve both presentational and interpersonal speaking at proficiency levels from level 2. Students listen and respond to videos, podcasts, and cds. Students write journals , and the cultures of the French-speaking world are embedded in the readings and audio assignments.
