Le Grand Concours is an annual competition sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of French. It is open to students of French in grades 1 -12, all 50 states and abroad. Students take a written test, which includes an audio portion, and compete against students with similiar education and family background. There are 7 different levels of the contest and 5 different divisions to ensure students compete against those with similar training. Students enter via their French teacher.
