Pembroke Hill’s Extended Day Program provides a safe, engaging environment for students to unwind, complete homework, and participate in enrichment activities after the school day ends. Our goal is to balance fun, creativity, and responsibility while maintaining a structured routine for all participants.
Our Study Studio is available for third through fifth grade students who wish to focus on homework, reading, or quiet study. The space is intentionally set up as a calm, structured environment that supports concentration and academic success.
Staff encourage students daily to use this time productively; however, participation cannot be mandated. We ask for parental support in encouraging students to bring materials and take advantage of this study opportunity. Building consistent study habits during Extended Day helps students stay organized and prepared for school.
All students are supervised by trained Pembroke Hill staff at all times. Families should ensure that their child’s emergency contact and medical information is current in Veracross before participation in any Extended Day or enrichment program.
Photos and videos may occasionally be taken during Extended Day and enrichment classes for school publications, social media, or newsletters. Please notify the Auxiliary Programs office in writing if you prefer your child not be included in photos.
Cancellations must be made at least one week prior to the start of a class, lesson, or program in order to receive a full refund.
Cancellations made within one week of the start date will incur a $20 processing fee. No exceptions.
By registering your student for any Pembroke Hill enrichment class, private lesson, or childcare program, you acknowledge that participation may involve some level of physical activity and risk. Pembroke Hill School and its instructors are not responsible for injuries that may occur during participation. Parents and guardians agree to hold harmless and indemnify Pembroke Hill School, its staff, and program instructors against any claims arising from participation in these activities.
Pembroke Hill provides supplemental accident insurance coverage for all students participating in school-sponsored activities, including athletics, enrichment classes, and field trips. This policy is designed to assist with medical expenses that may not be fully covered by a family’s primary health insurance in the event of an accident during a supervised school activity.
Families should first file claims through their primary health insurance provider. The school’s supplemental coverage, administered through BMI Benefits, LLC, can then help cover eligible remaining costs.
Please note that this coverage is secondary, meaning it does not replace your primary health insurance and does not guarantee payment for all expenses.
To submit a claim, please complete the Student Accident Claim Form and submit it directly to BMI Benefits within 90 days of the date of the accident. You may download the form using the link here. For additional questions about coverage or the claims process, please reach out.
Students who remain past their contracted time will be billed at the regular hourly rate for the additional time.
Families arriving after 6:00 p.m. will be charged $5 per minute for late pick-up.
Late Registration and Drop-In Policy
Registrations added the day before or on the day of care will incur an additional $20 fee on top of the regular registration cost.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests for private lessons must be communicated directly to the instructor as early as possible.
If a lesson must be canceled, families must provide at least 24 hours’ notice and receive instructor approval for the absence to avoid being charged.
