PelotonU Student Damaris Gomez offers advice on tackling tough projects and leaning into your support team!
Using emotional intelligence to create an inclusive culture and a workplace where people feel comfortable being themselves isn’t just being a good human—it’s also good for businesses.
This week's theme is "teamwork," and you'll be continuing your work on emotional intelligence from last week into this week as you think about the importance of working with diverse teams, and how you can be a leader in creating more inclusive workplaces.
Make sure to complete ALL of the activities on the to-do list below: each activity supports another one, and they all support YOU!
We see you! You're working hard! Keep track of the hours you spend on any school task using our Virtual Study Log! Remember, you cannot see what you've already submitted, so log hours each day you work on school or have a meeting with your Coach/AOL, OR keep track of your hours on paper and log everything retroactively on Sundays.
Need a reminder for how to work the study log? Check out our video tutorial!
(this assignment is due before your 1st meeting of this week!)
Watch our video tutorial on this week's CA. (optional)
ADDRESS feedback, if any, on last week's SNHU project. Your Coach and SSC may have left you comments in your shared google doc of your SNHU project from last week. If comments in Google Docs is new for you, check out this video tutorial of what they are, how they work, how you can reply to them, and how you can "resolve" them (deleting them from your document once you've addressed them).
COMPLETE Accenture modules. The concepts in this week's Accenture modules will come up multiple times in your degree coursework because, today's work environments often require teamwork and collaboration. It’s not always easy, but knowing how to work on a team can make a big difference. You can expect to complete these 3 modules in 1 hour.

In your meeting with your Coach this week, you will receive a Crash Course of Brightspace, SNHU's learning management system, or website, where you will access all of your projects, submit your deliverables, and communicate with the reviewers. Be patient with yourself as you learn to navigate this new system.
After your Coach's overview, feel free to watch our video for a refresher.
For a student perspective, check out the videos from our fabulous former Student Support Coordinator, Josue, as he shares how to navigate Brightspace (Part 1 | Part 2)
Payment in Place: Your financial aid award must be processed -or- a payment plan set up through SNHU in order to gain access to Brightspace next week. If it's not, you need to talk to your Coach ASAP.
Paying all or a portion out of pocket? Check out our Payment Plan Step-by-Step Guide.
(If not completed yet) If you are receiving financial aid (Pell Grant, and/or Subsidized/Unsubsidized Loans) and if your award offer is ready, set up your SNHU BankMobile Refund account. This refund account allows you to set up a direct deposit in case you have additional funds remaining after your financial aid award is applied to your balance.
