OUR COMMON VISION 

We just wanted to try if we are able to face the up-to-date challenges of the current life in other EU countries. We planned some practice and affirmation of our students' competences in Portugal, Poland and Ireland.   We also wanted to follow the current situation in these countries, both in pre-school education and social care for seniors.

We started the project with the participants selection process, then with the special and language praparation before departure, preparation meetings with a personal meeting in the target workplaces, online meetings of our school project coordinator and the project teams of the partners' schools to finalise the LOU (learning outcome units). Then the mobilities followed (main activities), with the participants' monitoring and support, certification and the follow-up activities with the dissemination and evaluation of the project.     

We planned three actions of short-term mobilities of VET learners within 18 months to three target EU countries - Portugal, Poland and Ireland. We sent 10 participants to each country for two weeks, together 30 were planned, but in the end only 29 students took part in the project, because of covid-19.

The groups were placed in the target workplaces. The students of Pre-School and Out-of School Pedagogy were teaching in kindergartens and the students of Social pedagogy were activating clients in homes for the elderly and day centres for the mentally and physically handicapped.

Stucture of the 10-members' groups, regarding the students' numbers of our study programmes:

6 students – the Upper Secondary Pedagogical School Kroměříž, 4-year study: Pre-school and Out-of-School Pedagogy

2 students – the Pedagogical College Kroměříž, 3-year study: Pre-school and Out-of-school Pedagogy 

2 students – the Social College Kroměříž, 3-year study: Social Pedagogy
