SPED 540 Foundations of Education for the Visually Impaired Learner
SPED 541 Implications of Vision Problems
SPED 545 Orientation and Mobility/Life Skills
Current Teaching License with VIL Endorsement
Candidates may apply for course waivers if their program offered substantially similar coursework.
Program of Study
*Minimum 400 hours of field placement working with individuals with visual impairments; credit hours may span across multiple terms for those who are unable to complete a full-time practicum placement.
**A 3-credit EI or Rehab Counseling elective may be completed in any term depending on course availability.
