PSPB application openings and interviews occur every spring for the following school year
Event Planner Position
The programming board does hiring annually, during spring term in addition to the summer on occasion.
Becoming an event planner allows opportunity for PSU students to learn the following skills:
Lead/Co-lead event planning tasks for one to two events per term
Collaborate with and support the work of other event planners
Be responsible for PSPB’s social media presence
Post event advertisements to a variety of website calendars and social networking sites
Gather information for event flyers from committees, communicate with Graphic Design Center or create flyers using online programs
Delegate event flyer distribution and post flyers throughout campus
Send digital copies of posters to various departments/advisers and to digital screens across campus
Set-up and take-down the display case
Attend and assist with PSPB events and hold various roles such as MC, ticket scanner, food monitor, and photographer
Attend and participate in weekly meetings, every Tuesdays
Hold weekly office hours
