Liz Barany

Liz Barany has worked in K-12 education for over 20 years as a Reading Specialist, General Educator, and Special Education teacher in Seattle, Washington and Bend, Oregon. She grew up on the Oregon Coast, pursued education in Seattle, and now calls Bend, Oregon home. 

She is excited to delve into Orientation & Mobility and Proprioception and working with students who are Low Vision. She is completing the Visual Impairment program through Stephen F. Austin University in May 2025 and started O&M with Portland State University in 2024. This is her first school year as a TSVI through the High Desert Education Service District and she loves the diversity and challenges each day presents.
