· Learners will explore 5 specific strategies that can be used to maximize the time an instructor spends face to face with students/clients including group lessons, proximal co-teaching, role-release and clustering, and understand the ethical and legal parameters of using them.
· Learners will be introduced to federal documentation that supports and informs the use of paraeducators in a role release model of service delivery, including principles of liability and providing safety supervision.
· Learners will apply the code of ethics and standards of practice to each strategy and define parameters for practice.
