This link will take you to the student facing site (MESAEverday) that will have both Middle School and Highschool email templates as well as the client list for them to interview.
Part of your role in mentoring is to help tailor their emails to better suit the initial point of contact with the potential client. Everyone on that list should reach back out no problem as we've already vetted everyone however it doesn't hurt to have better email structures to get their attention again!
We're thinking:
Subject Lines (How to be professional and attention getting!)
Greetings and body of the message (personable but professional)
See how some words are hyperlinked and others aren't maybe you could tell them why someone would do something like that and when they would?
How to end the message
Maybe introduce them to schedule sending follow up messages?
When they should begin to follow up if they haven't received a message, what it should say, and how frequently they should do it before moving on
The base codes are like the starting point to the students to get started with their projects this year. The document has few ideas for projects, the overview of it and explanation to the base codes.
