Event Overview

Demo Day is a showcase for students in MESA to present their projects to the community.

Teams (2-4 students) will showcase their designs using their prototype, poster, and any other visual aids they can or have. Demo Day guests will visit teams at their tables and listen to a pitch about the design of their invention and how it meets the needs of their clients. 

The pitch competition is part of Demo Day but is optional to participate. Every student will have the opportunity to talk with judges for project feedback, but they can opt out of getting scored if they do not wish to compete for an award.   

Each team will have part of a table to display their items. Electricity can be provided if teams let us know ahead of time that it's needed. 

Teams will be responsible for finding their own transportation to Demo Day. Advisors can work with parents and/or teams from other nearby schools to arrange a carpool.
