Use the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to apply for financial aid for college. In addition, FAFSA is used to qualify applicants for scholarships, grants and other federal aid.
Oregon students with undocumented, DACA, or TPS status can fill out the Oregon Student Aid Application (ORSAA) to apply for Oregon based financial aid.
Dr. Ernest Hartzog Founder’s Scholarship – March 3 deadline (Details & Application)
Thornton Scholarship – For Black male students from specific Oregon high schools (Details & Application)
Mabel and Allen McKenzie Scholarship – For Black/African American students from Deschutes County who participated in competitive sports (Details)
Portland NAACP Scholarship – Application opens in March
Oregon Goes To College - Oregon Goes To College
Scholarships are free money for college! Apply to as many as possible.
Details: Scholarships for students in architecture, interior design, engineering, construction management, or art in Oregon. Awards range from $5,000–$10,000.
Opportunities:
Hatfield Architectural Award: $5,000 for undergrad/grad architecture students at UO or PSU committed to community service.
William Hart Scholarship: $5,000 for BIPOC architecture students in their final year at UO or PSU.
Tsagaglalal Scholarship: $10,000 renewable for Indigenous students in art/architecture at PSU.
Hermann Colas, Jr. Scholarship: $5,000 for Black & Latinx students in construction mgmt., engineering, or architecture at an OR college.
PAE Diversity in Engineering Scholarship: $5,000 for underrepresented students in engineering passionate about climate justice.

Location: Carleton Hart Architecture (Workshop)
Details: Scholarships of $5,000–$10,000 are available for students pursuing careers in design and construction. The workshop will offer essay and portfolio feedback.

The OSAC Scholarship Application offers access to over 600 scholarships for Oregon students.
Early Bird Deadline: February 18, 2025
Final Deadline: March 3, 2025

The Ford Family Foundation has officially opened its scholarship applications for Fall 2025.
There are three types of scholarships:
Ford Scholars for graduating high school seniors
Ford Transfers for community college students transitioning to four-year colleges
Ford Opportunity for adult learners aged 25 and above.
Additionally, the Ford Sons and Daughters scholarship is available for eligible dependents of Roseburg Forest Products employees.
