A welcome from Staff and Faculty who created Summer Research Academy and run the BUILD EXITO program!

Since we have so many Scholars in Cohort 7, we will be splitting up the Elevator Pitch presentations into 4 separate groups to do their presentations. Each group will have 15-20 Scholars from a range of our institutions.

This session will focus on the main differences between the first year of EXITO and Years 2 and beyond, with a focus on the great hands-on mentored research experiences available after year one of the program!

Join Dr. Radhika Reddy, PSU Biology Instructor and EXITO's Research Learning Community Coordinator to learn more about biomedical research careers, lab environments, and the types of research placements that EXITO offers to Phase 2 students.

Incoming Scholars will have a chance to meet EXITO alumni and learn more different about undergraduate and graduate research pathways. Dr. Carlos Crespo, EXITO's Director & Principal Investigator, will moderate this exciting discussion. Scholars will get the chance to share their thoughts on their insights on SRA. After 4 days of SRA, we're sure you have a lot on your mind!

To wrap up the final day of SRA, we'll hear from some EXITO Staff/Faculty.
