Course Change Requests for Semester 2 (Feb 2024)
Students will have the opportunity to request changes starting Feb 5th. The paper form can be picked up in the Guidance Office.
Requests are due by 8am Friday Feb 9th.
After Feb 9th
Drops only, no more additions to timetables
students must follow the 4-step process - Drop Request form
Course Change Request Criteria
missing a course to graduate (incomplete timetable)
missing the prerequisite credit
already earned the credit (documentation may be required)
wrong pathway
required for post-secondary (proof required)
Change of Interest (Please remain mindful that Compulsory Programming & OSSD requirements take priority)
Remove A Course - Course not required for OSSD, Post-Secondary &/or Future Plans. - Additional information may be required

Do you wish to drop a course? If so please read the following information carefully to make sure you qualify
1. The course dropped will not be replaced
2. Drops must happen by Nov 24th (semester 1) or your last posted grade will remain on your transcripts ( gr 11 and 12's only)
3. All drop requests must use the attached form and a paper copy must be handed in to your guidance counsellor who will review the request.
4. It is the student and family's responsibility to ensure they are still meeting OSSD and post secondary requirements prior to the removal of the course.
5. If you are dropping a course which will take you below 3 courses ( not including night school) you must see a guidance counsellor before the form is filled in.
