University of Waterloo - Scholarship Opportunities
The University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) STEM Scholars Program - A Pathway for Tomorrow's Leaders aims to increase diversity among future leaders in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). This unique program seeks to identify high-achieving Black students and mentor them throughout the pathway from high school to graduate school. The program is open to those who excel in both academic and extracurricular activities and who have an interest in the advancement of underrepresented groups in STEM.

Any 3 of the following 4 Grade 12 courses, each with a minimum mark of 85%: Advanced Functions, Calculus, Chemistry, and Physics
Commitment to follow an undergraduate program in the sciences
Intention to pursue a graduate degree
Self-identification as Black
Canadian citizen or landed immigrant (permanent resident)
FREE GRANT money to add to your RESP
The Ontario Learning Development Foundation Inc (OLDF) is a Canadian Non-Profit organization. At OLDF we are taking a proactive approach to help increase RESP and CLB registrations among students. We are contacting you to encourage your students to apply for the Canada Learning Bond.
CLB is money that the Government adds to a Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP) for children from low-income families. No personal contributions to an RESP are required to receive the CLB.

UWindsor Nursing: Learn and Stay Grant
UWindsor Nursing will be one of the programs partnering with the provincial government to implement the Learn and Stay Grant, starting in Fall 2023. The grant provides funding for students studying Nursing at UWindsor. This program:
provides grant funding for all academic expenses including tuition. Non-academic expenses such as residence are not covered.
requires students to work after graduation in the region where they study
responds to labour market needs
helps communities get the workers they need for in-demand professions
