Students in Grade 8 are expected to be focused on independent, problem solving that allows them to be successful in a variety of tasks. Students are expected to come to class prepared to learn, be inclusive, equitable and fair to all other students and staff members.
Students in Grade 8, transitioning to High School are expected to advocate for themselves when unsure of expectations, review our VLE (Virtual Learning Environment - Google Classroom), complete tasks in the timeline provided and work closely with their educators to better understand the expectations.
Below you will find information on our co-created learning skills expectations. Students worked together to decide what the expectations would be for each learning skill so that they understand how they are receiving their report card assessments.
